what is their roaming profile set to in user manager..? Once I put win2k
boxes on our network I found out something interesting... Some ppl where
getting similar errors, unable to load roaming profile, blah blah blah..
Well the old admin before me had setup some accounts in user manager to use
roaming profiles, but the roaming profiles that where specified where
%systemdrive%/winnt/blah blah blah... This worked fine with NT, although it
is obviously stupid. In win2k the profile path had changed and it generated
this error when certain accounts tried to login. It is a very bizarre
circumstance, but worth a shot, did u get that.. uh well,
basically what is the roaming profile path set for the problem accounts in
user manager..
Don't forget Babylon is falling...

   Good luck,
    ~John

Subject: Loading profiles in XP

I have a Windows NT network
PDC - Windows NT 4.0 sp 6
BDC - Windows NT 4.0 sp 6

I also have a Windows 2000 server on the same network but it is not a
controller. My issue has arisen since they have placed a couple of Windows
XP stations on the network. When the stations boot the get "unable to load
roaming profile" and then they get "unable to load mandatory profile" all
users get these errors. any hints?
