Why not by a small rack mount server like a dell 350 or smaller? And do your
own DNS?

Well, this box suppose to be replacing our current BIND and MS DNS. The idea
here is  that they wanted to centrallize our DNS.  I thought I heard the
cost around $7k or something like that.

compliant.

Never heard of DNSOne, does it support DDNS? If you are going AD, it is a
must have.

We're looking to implement AD at our place and the Network Manager wanted to
bring the new DNSOne from Infobox to host DNS and DHCP, the software runs on
Linux box.  All I want to know is if any issue with this combination out
there.  Ofcourse, I'd prefer W2K DNS, but I make the call around here,
unless there is a known problem with this DNSOne.
