Im not 100% sure on how to do it but just be careful when yo uapply the permissions via the GPO.
Does anyone have ideas to resolve this.... I have added sceurity to a service via a GPO and once I applied it the group who could admin that service was unable to do so - even an enterprise adminisrator could not change the service settings. i remove the gpo from the container and moved the server into another containter and set it not to inherit any top GPO's. i did a gpresult and it showd that it was not collecting the above GPO with the settings in it - however this did not reset the security on this service. ive even re-create the Local Secuirty Policy from the templates.. so even when logged on as local admin to the box you cant do anything with this service - any ideas? jared ---------------- > I am attempting to assign permissions to a service using a GP.
