We've been very happy with HP switches for a long time... In the few instances where there have been problems (one 8 port card went bad on a switch 8000 and two 2424M's had switching matrices that developed an odd problem out of the 25 or so switches we have) the problem part/switch was replaced next day with a quick phone call to HP. I just love the lifetime warranty....... Even on our hot and dirty shop floor the switches run like champs...
