Also, you shouldn't have to reboot the server when this happens, you can
just go into the Terminal services manager and logoff those sessions that
are locked (I'm assuming that you have admin privileges).

Hope that helps too!

In Terminal Services Configuration on the server, select properties on
RDP-Tcp. Have a look at the sessions tabs. You can do all you want with
auto log off and session time out there.

Hope that Helps

Subject: Terminal Services Manager tweak

I connect to a win2kadv server using terminal services (v5 bld2195)...it
functions as a web server...usually I'm the only one connecting to it. My
client-side connection is prone to timeouts and dropped connections.
Usually, when I re-connect to the server I return to the same desktop state
that I left. Sometimes (here's the problem) when logging back in, i get a
'number of connections exceeded' error and I have to re-boot the server.

Is it possible to devise a WHScript that keep my connection state clean
enough that I can avoid the lock-out? I'm envisioning something like a
script that can sense a timed out or non-attended connection and delete it.
...or perhaps a delete connections script that can be fired from a web page.
