Well, you know there is always that "making a phone call, and have
someone reboot the server" tactic. ;)

Very true, I was thinking LAN not WAN. I'm curious to know how the
server
is rebooted then via WAN if both connections are down. Then again,
anything is possible now-a-days!! ;)

Good call Andrew.

That will only work if he is on the LAN or via a VPN. But if he is
coming in from the WAN, then he can't use that adminpak tool.

Again, if you use the TS Manager, you are able to do this. You can
disconnect or log the user out through the TS Manager.

I think he meant what happens if you can't get to either sessions. How
will you kill it then.

I would go to the AD users and computers, and under the admin account
you are using to get in these terminal sessions, and change the "End a
disconnected session" timer from never to a acceptable time for you.
Then if you got disconnected, it will kill that session after that time
elapses.

It should already bo on the server if you have TS on the server you arte
connected to. Just reconnect into your #2 session load uo the TS manager
and kill session #1.

Bam your done.

Install it and find out. It's the tool I stated with my last post.

Good luck.

Sorry...i don't follow how it can be that _anything I install
client-side is going to let me do _anything server-side if I can't log
in.

Leading me to ...
