Don't take this the wrong way but if you have the authority to install
NT and 2000 server then it sounds like you may be this IS guys boss.
This doesn't help you solve you problem directly but I would tell my IS
guy to get with the program or get a new job. If that is not an option
then you definitely should start by looking at the gateway services for
Netware that are built into Win NT and 2000.

Subject: Win2K Domain controller

Howdy howdy. I'm not terribly network saavy, but I have a general
question. Our IS is a Netware guy and won't switch to Win2K.

I'm wondering what kind of issues I'd run into with setting up a domain
controller on one of my win2K (adv. server) boxes and having it coexist
with the Netware. People log in to their machines via netware, but so
far I've set up everyone to access our NT servers with individual
accounts on each box. It'd be nice to have one NT box acting as the DC
to manage accounts for all the servers.

Thoughts? Too much to tackle for a novice?

Thanks!
Tim
