Don't take this the wrong way but if you have the authority to install NT and 2000 server then it sounds like you may be this IS guys boss. This doesn't help you solve you problem directly but I would tell my IS guy to get with the program or get a new job. If that is not an option then you definitely should start by looking at the gateway services for Netware that are built into Win NT and 2000.
