Hi list, probably this is a well known problem, but I am just to stupid to find the right link in the net.
Situation: 2 w2k Server (2 dns and 1 wins server) about 20 w2k prof workstations tcp/ip (w netbios) Problem: Usually I we see all our computers in the network environment of the explorer. But sometimes we don't. Further Information: It is still possible to access the machines with typing in the names in the adress field or using 'net use'. After Rebooting computers mostly show up again. I can't reproduce it. Maybe someone has a good hint, where to find information about this problem and how to fix it. I can't turn off the WINS Server, but might this be the cause? Thanx in advance...
