Ok I need to ask some stupid questions, please bear with me.
We recently moved office premises and i those of you who remember i said that someone else set up the network here. Now the problem i have is that ppl can't log on to the net (sometimes) if i dont' put in a dns entry into their dns settings...but very bright and blonde me (sorry all blondes) have just realized that the DNS ip no i put in is from our old premises and yet its still working Now how do i find out what our DNS ip addie is here, is it just our normal IP addie to our network? 2ndly Howcome it works when i put in the ip from our old offices? Our ip's are dynamically assigned via DHCP shouldn't it be the same for DNS? (yes i am doing the network infrastructure course soon) bear wiff me :( ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
