Hi Tuan,
1. You need to create File Share from Cluster Amin for every shared
folders so that when a failover happens, clients won 't see the
difference of the shares.
2. There are necessary to have two Nic for each server, the crossover
uses one pair of Nics
3. Multiple apps should be OK, but it will slow down the performance

Subject: Microsoft Cluster configuration

Good morning!

I'm looking into implement Win2K MSCS for DHCP, and I kinda understand
how
MSCS works, but still very cloudy. I do have questions in some areas:
        1. When they mentioned Share Disk, can this be a
StorageWorks?
Is this mean I have to designate two separate shares for two
servers or can they use one share?
        2. Do you recommend to use cross cable between the two
servers
or connect them to a separate network.
        3. Is the cluster setup for individual apps or can I use it
for
multiple apss (i.e. IIS; E2K; DFS.....)

Anyone out there that using Cluster already please advice. Thanks!!!!
