Dear All, Current domain = NT4 Single Domain environment (1 PDC & 3 BDC with SP5) ; 1 DNS Server (NT4 with SP6A) Current SOE = 2,500 x NT Workstation 4.0 with SP5
What would be the easiest & smoothest approach I should consider for W2K migration project? 1) Upgrade all workstations to Windows 2K Professional first ; or 2) Upgrade all NT4 domain controllers to be Windows 2K domain controller with AD aware first? If I choose to upgrade all workstations first, would my NT4 domain's Policy still stay as effective? And, would W2K Group Policy still retain my NT4 Domain's Policy settings when I upgrade the NT4 domain controllers to W2K domain controller later? Thanks in advanced.
