We are using the Netbackup software from Veritas and achieve about 10GB per hour from our fileservers, this is to a SDLT robot. The biggest thing we saw, after disabling anti-virus was making sure all Netcoms equipment, NIC, switches, etc were set to 100 full-duplex, if anything was left at auto sensing we got awful transer rates.
