Dear joe user.. :)

i am new to all this network stuff but what i wanted to know was that in my
packet filtering i having set up a port with sync only not ack....but when
i got to the site (it has a fixed port addie) it still wont let me.

is there something else i need to do besides specify in the packet
filtering which port i want to allow sync access to?

I think I understood you fine but I think you misunderstood what
WinRoute Pro is. It is much more then a firewall. It also seems that
no one here has really been able to help you in a satisfactory
manner. It's obvious you are unwilling to dive into any research but
rather have us to the homework you need and exactly to your requests.
I submit that you can read their site without any more work then
reading this email and responding to it and get all the answers you
need. And since your questions are based on the firewall within the
product it is clear to me you need a better understanding of it.
Biased or not, you will know what the product does and therefore be
more apt to ask appropriate questions. Once you grasp the concept of
WinRoute Pro, I'll be happy to address any questions you may have in
a un-biased way. Although I should warn you, as a proponent of the
software (As in, I'm extremely happy with it), I am biased.
