The standard response in the Exchange lists are that Brick Level Backups = BAD. See here for more details http://mail.tekscan.com/nomailboxes.htm.
For virus scanning make sure you EXCLUDE any of the exchange directories. Scanning these will cause nothing but grief for yourself. Arcserve exchange backup////.. fails to perform the brick level backups... fails to backup the mailboxes and the public folder contents.. says that access was denied... but the entire database gets backed up OK... no probs with that.. any help guys...
