Josh, do you also do this for 9x clients?
I'm not so concerned about OS patches as I am for IE55SP2 patches.

Either way, what tyoe of scripting tools do you use to get the job done?

entry We run a script that runs at the start of each machine parses

the registry looks for the key and if it does not exist it applies the
hot
fix.

I have also heard of people creating a MSI Packages using WISE or
something
like that

Subject: How to apply Microsoft hot fix using group policy

All of my users are W2K Pro. I'd like to apply all Microsoft security
hot
fixes and patches to all workstations. How would I set up Group Policy
to
send these fixes to these computers without going to each one and apply
them
manually?

Thanks.
