What do you mean when you say you needed to use a network boot disk to
initialize the card?

I've been working with Intel Pro's the whole time and have only had 3 PC's
not boot. I just used a network boot disk to initialize it and then they
were fine. Weird problem but rare so I didn't care.

Cheers,
Tony

Subject: Network Card and PXE

I am just getting around to trying out Windows 2000 RIS in a test
environment. As I am working thur the implementation, I find that none of
my network cards are PXE capable and they are not listed in the RBFG.exe
program....so, I will need to buy a card that is either PXE capable or on
the list of supported cards in the RBFG.exe program. I have two questions:

1. What do you all recommand for a PXE enabled card to buy?
2. If I were to buy one of the supported cards on the RBFG.exe, which one
should I buy?

Thanks in advanced,
Leonard Lee
