Distributed File System (DFS), does that offer redundancy and load balancing? I thought it was just to create distributed file shares so that data could be easily accessed through drive letters regardless of its physical location.

What do they think? Hi All, I am considering using DFS between my two new 2000 servers for redundancy and load balancing. Is anyone currently using it? Have they had any problems with it? Does file replication actually work in a production environment in 2000 server or is it a gimmick?
