I have noticed the same problem with Cisco switches. It only started to happen when we got rid of the 3com hubs for Cisco. I also noticed that if I didn't log on as soon as the logon prompt came up and waited a couple of minutes the error wouldn't appear. I have even called Cisco on this and they couldn't make sense of it.

I have two workstations running Windows 98 - they go to log on in the morning and receive the "no domain server available to validate your password" - but if you choose "OK" it will log them on and map drives the whole nine yards. This seemed to have started when we changed out our 10meg hubs for 100meg switches. The server is running Windows NT 4.0 SP 6. They both started at the same time. Any suggestions Thanks Bob ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
