Hi All does any one know of a patch that actually slows down the speed of a shut down on a Pentium 4 computer running XP. I have a client that has a great computer but as it shuts down it corrupts the registry. When the system is told to restart then it is fine but on a normal shut down it does not get time to write the cache to disk. Any idea or fixes would be greatly appreciated. I have seen the problem and the fix some where but can not remember where Thanks
