How about checking to see if they have another protocol that can be used. I used to have this problem back when I first got DSL with bellsouth and remember having their support stating to me that it wasn't possible to configure pppoe under w2k. Well I ended up trying out the RFC 1483 protocol. Needed a little tweaking, but I got it to work. Not sure if this helps, but it may shed light on an alternate route that may be available.
