I have a windows 2000 domain controller that has a blank desktop. I can log into the server normally, but the desktop never appears. I can use ctl-alt-del to access task manager but when I try to run an executable from "new task" I get the following error message: "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folders Option in Control Panel" Of course I cant get to the Control panel because I dont have a desktop Any ideas or suggesstions would be greatly appreciated. The servers appears to be fuctioning normallly, just cant access the desktop
