With a drive system being overworked - is it better to have dual SCSI adapters running two different RAID systems for the network applications to pull from (note: the CPU is not overworked, just the programs pulling data from the single drive system)...or, a 3 channel single RAID card doing the same?
Will a 3 channel RAID of SCSI U160's running wildly overflow the PCI bus which is what I am thinking in this case a dual SCSI would benefit more. Any pro's/con's on good win2k RAID cards from Adaptec, Mylex or others? Thanks for the insight.
