Secedit allows for updates to a single machine, but does not seem to have a "do this to the whole domain" option.
Also for the log on locally issue it requires log in to run. :) -----Original Message----- From: Evans Chris - cevans [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, November 19, 2002 9:57 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: Forcing Domain Default Policy to update immediately You can do this with secedit. But..It should have been done already by deault a machine refreshes it sec policy every 45 minutes. -----Original Message----- From: Scott Schindler [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, November 19, 2002 7:21 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Forcing Domain Default Policy to update immediately Can you force a domain wide propagation? or can you set a 10 minute refresh or something? One of our admins set a domain policy yesterday for log on locally rights to the backup service and admins only. NOw no one can log in until the policy changes I made take effect. ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ********************************************************************** The information contained in this communication is confidential, is intended only for the use of the recipient named above, and may be legally privileged.
