Hi,
we have a Win2K AD Mixed mode domain on our national network. Only one of
the remote offices has a domain controller, the others are all small
enough to log on across their respective WAN links.
Our main office has 2 AD controllers, and several old NT4 BDC machines,
all of which works fine for the small offices and the local office users.
The office that has a single BDC is where the problems are occurring. For
whatever reason, the link between this office and the head office has been
excruciatingly slow ever since AD was implemented in the head office.
AD has been running in the head office for a few months now.
There have been no changes to the network infrastructure for quite some
time (besides the implementation of AD at head office), so the loss of
speed has us baffled.

Can anyone suggest any reasons why this might be the case?

Cheers.
