Close all Explorer windows except on.

Make all of the configuration you want.

Go to Folder Options and configure every window to work like that one.

The Language bar is a part of Office, IIRC.

Subject: Coupla toolbar questions

Platform is Windows XP Pro, SP1.

I've got 2 really aggrivating things going on here:

1) The Language Bar on the taskbar will not go away. Everytime I boot
up, the Language Bar is enabled. I'll disable it, then at the next
reboot it will be back again. Whether or not the taskbar is locked seems
to have no effect. PC is not a member of a domain and no local policies
are in affect.

2) Does anyone know how to permanantly enable the Status Bar in Windows
Explorer? It is always disabled after a reboot.

Thanks
