Do you mean you checked the regular services?  Did you look at the
Windows components that are installed (under Add/Remove Programs --
Windows components -- Other file and print services) to see if that
component is there?  My only other thought would be to temporarily
remove all mapped printers, to see if something is hanging it up there.

I have not been able to remove TCP/IP protocol from a Windows 2000
station. It reports that Unix printing service needs the protocol. I
have checked services and see no "Unix printing services "running. I
need to remove this in order to remove the TCP/IP protocol. The reason I
need to remove this - the computer connects to the Internet through
dial-up but no packets are being sent or received. I believe the stack
is corrupted. Any help would be appreciated
