Greetings, This seems like a stupid question, but what is the best way to remove labels and the adhesives from tapes? The tapes are labeled for offsite storage and returned on a monthly basis, then reused for backups. The problem is, when residue is left on the tape from tearing off the label it can gum up the heads on DLT & AIT drives and cause media/hardware errors. Any suggestions?
