A computer that is a member of a domain has a secure channel password
associated with it that it changes every 7 days. So A computer that has a
password age of 30+ days should be safe to delete. Since the password is a
property of the Computer object, when the password changes the USN is
updated for replication purposes. Is that what you were looking for?

Subject: USN updates in ActiveDir?

Here's a boggling question -

WHAT CAUSES A USN UPDATE ON A COMPUTER ACCOUNT IN THE DIRECTORY?

The reason I ask is that there are several scripts that use the
"PasswordAge" property to clean up outdated computer accounts in the
directory, but I have no idea what that means. I've noticed that the
PasswordAge corresponds exactly to the object's last update date/time in
ADUC, or the USN update. What the heck does it?
