Some advantages to the Win2K NAS systems are the ability to use Antivirus
and backup agents.

Roger,

Are there really any advantages to these Win2k NAS devices? Aren't they just
a locked-down Win2k server? Why would that be any better than a regular
Win2k server that you could operate just like all your other servers?

Since they're a Microsoft shop, I'd suggest looking at the Microsoft based
solutions - Compaq offers one or two, and Dell has 3-4 in a broad range of
sizes. The big advantage here is that they won't have to learn a new system
really - these are special NAS versions of Win2k.
