Robocopy is cool. I will be using it in the near future to migrate all
users' home directories in our office from one server to another. I
particularly like the /MIRROR option to give me some extra time to change
everyone's profiles to reflect the change in home dir.

Use XCOPY or ROBOCOPY to copy/move the files and maintain ownership.

Subject: Moving user files

We need to move users from one partition to another on the same Win 2K
server and we also want to start using disk quotas. What is the easiest way
to move their user files and still keep them as the owner? I'm new to Win
2K but I believe the quota is based on file ownership. TIA.
