Typically what we do/recommend for clients is to get a win2k server (they may have in-house) and setup a TS test and see if the applications you need will behave properly. Takes some testing, calling vendors and tweaking for some programs that are not TS friendly. Once the test is done, you can rebuild on the proper server configuration.
