I believe it will still rebuilt the 38 gig partition even though 6 gig is in
use. You might check the raid card to see your rebuild priority, it might be
set to low it will take a while.

Depends on the priority you put on the rebuilt when the server was built,
and the traffic that is currently on the server.

I have had to replace a drive in a mirror set - a 38GB partition - only 6GB
being used. It has been 2 hours initializing and still at it. How long does
