Last time I had to do this was a bit over 2 years ago and, at that time, I
was told by Compaq that it would take *about* 15 min's per Gig of data.  And
it did.

With faster drives nowadays, time per Gig is probably faster now.  And it
looks like it took about 10 min's per Gig for Dave Lum.

yes, I replaced only 1 HD (36GB) on a raid5 built with 4 HDs, and it
