Well the WAP has LAN settings for IP Address and Subnet. DHCP Server Prarameters that allows it to act as a DHCP server and it allows you to enter in the range of IP's to supply and only a DNS server setting. No WINS server settings. So the tablets will get the right DNS server and it will resolve server names by FQDN, but that is moot for an NT domain.
It is basically acting as a router for wireless devices and giving each wireless device an IP address from its pool. The only thing that I can think of at this point is to put a DHCP server on the WAP with the applicable IP settings for the network.
