Hi All I have a Compaq EVO and the situation is this? It will be installed in some lovely little island in the middle of the pacific but they only have power 12 hours of the day. What I want to do is when the power is turned on the system boots, brings up a modem and sends data to a server in Australia and when it shuts down it shuts down. There will be no one to turn the pc on. I have looked through the bios and there is nothing in it that will allow me to do this. Anyone with any ideas
