MY Doc folder redirect policy and Offline files sync are two different
things. If their home folder is moved to a new location then provided the
user has all the permissions on his network folder he should be able to
make his folder available offline . The redirect of My Docs to any new
location should work as long as policy points to the new location for My
Docs to be ridirected to.
thanks

| Subject: Redirect policy failing
|
>--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
I have a policy set up for a few users and the purpose of it is to do a
redirect of their my documents folder to a folder on their network
drive. The synchronizing of offline files has been working fine until I
moved the destination folder from one server to another server. I
changed the redirect policy to point to the new location where I moved
the folder. So in theory the client's documents should be synchronizing
their documents to this new location, but it's not. It's still trying to
sync. Up to the old server. Any ideas how to fix this. I would be
grateful for any help.
Thanks,
John
