Well, I guess what I'm saying is that when they logoff or logon they are setup to sync up their offline files to the folder that the redirect policy is pointing to. When they logon, they get a little computer icon that tells them that they are working offline. You know what I mean? Why are they working offline? They're computers for some reason are still pointing them to the old server...????

If their home folder is moved to a new location then provided the user has all the permissions on his network folder he should be able to make his folder available offline . The redirect of My Docs to any new location should work as long as policy points to the new location for My Docs to be ridirected to. thanks |---------+---------------------------------> | | "John Balos" | | | <[EMAIL PROTECTED]| | | m> | | | Sent by: | | | [EMAIL PROTECTED]| | | s.swynk.com | | | | | | | | | 02/20/2003 06:26 PM | | | Please respond to "NT | | | 2000 Discussions" | | | | |---------+---------------------------------> >----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------| | | | To: "NT 2000 Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | | cc: | | Subject: Redirect policy failing | >----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------| I have a policy set up for a few users and the purpose of it is to do a redirect of their my documents folder to a folder on their network drive. The synchronizing of offline files has been working fine until I moved the destination folder from one server to another server. I changed the redirect policy to point to the new location where I moved the folder. So in theory the client's documents should be synchronizing their documents to this new location, but it's not. It's still trying to sync. Up to the old server. Any ideas how to fix this. I would be grateful for any help.
