Ok I confirmed that the scalar hold up to 72 slots and the Overland goes up to 60

We made the decision to go with the scalar 100
I did look over the Overland NEO 4100 and it looks to be very similar except the 
scalar can hold 2 more drives (6) than the Overland (4) 
I also think that the scalar hold more tapes, but I would have to review the specs 
again.
Scalar also had one of the best reputations 
If you by an IBM LTO tape library what you are getting is a Scalar library with the 
IBM logo (and paying may thousands more)

We are in the process of upgrading our tape backup solution, and it has come down to 2 
different tape libraries.  Just wondering if anyone has experience with either, and 
might know of some of the pros and cons with them.  The two we are looking at are the 
ADIC Scalar 100 and the Overland NEO 4100.

Any info you have would be appreciated.
