As someone mentioned in another thread, there really aren't many technical solutions to behavioral problems. In situations like these I've told users who refuse to work within the parameters that we give them that any data loss, through accident, intent, action or inaction is not reperable. I usually send this in an email as a CYA.

I have a whole network of people who use their Deleted Items as a storage area (I have tried to get them to stop). The worst offenders seem to be laptop users who do most of their mail work out of the office. The problem is that changes made to the deleted items folder (deleting mail from it) does not synchronise so when they come back in in the morning and log onto the network, the mail messages are still there. I have checked the send/receive settings, but the folder is selected for replication. Can anyone help give advice or shoot me? Thanks in advance. _________________________________________________________________ It's fast, it's easy and it's free.
