How big is the file? Is the scheduler doing this? If so, do you have other items scheduled? What is the connection between the two devices? LAN, WAN? Dialup, Ethernet?

A job is set up each night to ftp a file from one server to another, some nights it is fine and others not. The file copies if over as kodailytemp.txt and when the file is finished copying it renames it to kodaily.txt.
