Antivirus scanning programs tend to do this when opening up new messages. It
has to scan the message.

Question, after you open a message is it slow to open the same message
again?

Subject: Outlook 2002 reaaallly slow in downloading and opening mail
compared to Outlook 2000

Is it me or is Outlook 20002 really slow when it comes to simply
retrieving email? I can literally sit here and see every mail as it's
downloaded. In Outlook 2000 is was fast and dayum near transparent to
the naked eye. Anyone eXPeriencing this?
