i'm thinking you should be able to go to Compaq's site and look up the video
card drivers there by knowing the model of the computer.

If not, they should at least, be able to tell you which card it is in the
system.  Then you could just search for the drivers for that card.

*on a side note, if its an ATI card, theres a site called "Rage 3d Tweak" or
something like that (just google for it) that has some custom drivers that
work quite well.  I prefer those over ATI's own releases.
