Hi Bud,

I have been reading Mark Minasi's book "Mastering Windows Server 2003" and I think it is excellent. It is mammoth at over 1,600 pages. I've been reading Mark's books for years and they are always top notch and an easy read because of his casual style.

Good luck,

Hello group:

There are a few books on Windows 2003 server starting to show up, all very
expensive, and I wonder who has "taken the plunge" and purchased one/some,
and who would like to give us an assessment.

To me, a "good" server book has most or all of the following attributes:
- Clear writing, easy to read and comprehend (for a technical person)
- Good examples and/or illustrations
- Highlights of important points; chapter summaries
- Searchable soft copy included
- Third-party and/or Microsoft tools and utilities included

Cheers

Bud
