Ronk,

You're not going to run DCPromo on the Win2K box if it is going to be
acting as your Exchange Server. You don't want to run an Exchange
Server as a ADD Controller unless you absolutely must. Just join the
Win2k server to the domain like you would any other server or
workstation.

You are going to need to run ForestPrep and DomainPrep on your Win2k3
Domain and most likely you're going to need to use the ForestPrep and
DomainPrep from Exch2k SP3. You may wish to triple check on which
version of ForestPrep and DomainPrep are Win2k3 AD ready though (I don't
know if they've release a special version for Win2k3 or not...)

If you have time to do it twice,
you had time to do it right in
the first place.

All I have a question about the steps to add a Windows 2000 Server into
a
windows 2003 Forest. The question is this is a new 2000 server and I
want
to put into play as my new Exchange server. Do I need run any AD prep
tools or will the dcpromo update the schema and all with out any
problem.
All help is needed and appriciated.
Thanks In Advance
Ronk
