Ronk,

The server needs to be IN the AD, not to be a DC of the AD. As long as you
add it the AD, it will talk with the DCs to get the informations he needs,
and everything will work perfectly. (With better performance than if he was
a DC also.)

Joe thanks for your input I thought that I would have to have the Exchange
Server in AD for all to work ok ? I didn't think I could just bring on
line as a stand alone. Will it still talk ok with AD as far as users email
accounts and all ?
