Im kinda curious if you ever found our what was going on with your three

Our whole IS department got griped out due to a sound card failure once
- the luser supposedly missed a client meeting because there was no
BEEP. No kidding.

Thank you,

I just had that problem with a PC and after swapping all of the other
hardware out, it ended up being the sound card. Whenever Windows tried
to detect it, or use it, the machine would freeze. After I yanked it, no
problems (yet). Who needs a sound card in an office PC anyway?

Steve

As I said previously, the computers freeze even when booting from CD
into Windows 2000 or XP, So I don't think it's a software problem.

hot fixes, Service Packs? Did you do any?
Are the systems W2K, XP? Do you have auto update installed and running.
