Check for power to the drive. If you have that, (it's been a couple of years) but seems like I had to go into the controller utility and tell it to rebuild.

ok well I turned it off and then popped the drive in.. now everything comes back up but I get no activity on that drive I popped in, but I don't get the amber failure light anymore
