I have an intermittant problem with windows NT4.0 Service Pack 6. Occasionally when a machine starts up fresh, or sits at the CTRL-ALT-DEL screen for an extended period of time the machine seems to lose its connection to the domain. The domain option doesnt show up at the logon and it says there is no domain controller available to authenticate preventing the user to log in.
Usually powering the machine down and up again seems to take care of the problem. Can anyone please help me with this.
