I'm currently running the Exchange Agent on 4.53. I have not had any issues with it at all. It has blocked most viruses from hitting the mailboxes.
I'm running Exchange 2k also. However, I am moving to Antigen as soon as I can take my Exchange server down to remove CA. I played around with the Exchange Agent for 7.0, and its 1000 times better than 4.53. It has a lot of rich features, but I just liked the fact that I'm not going to be dependent upon only one anti-virus company to update signature files. The Remote install was the main reason I choose CA. I was impressed with the way it worked. CA is not extremely fast in releasing updates though, typically Norton and Trend will beat them with new updates.
