Is their a DNS in the house? Usually when I see slow logins, start at DNS first. Had a client with the server handing out the ISP's DNS to the XP machines when the server should have been setup to use forwarders. XP wanted to authenticate with the ISP which took time to time out.

(3 to 5 mins) They have all brand new equipment from the servers, pcs and even switches. My first guess would be some how the person that recently setup the domain controller screwed it up. Ive looked in TechNet for slow login and im going to keep looking into the problem but has anyone seen a similar problem before? Thanks for any imput.
